Congratulations to Joseph and Trista.

The arrival of baby Olivia made everyone in the Gregorio/Mendoza clan full of excitement. I'm sure kuya Lito & Ate Luz will be happy that they now have a girl apo.

Since we have not seen her in person, according her proud dad Joe. she's a healthy baby girl. She joins the company of Melisa and Connie as a February girl.

This site is boring...

E-mail Print PDF

I know I know. I haven't been very active updating this site. I haven't heard any comments from anyone. So I was a little discourage keeping this site active.

I promise I will try to make it a little more interesting. I'm going to try to make some changes to liven it up a bit.

That's it for now.

[EDITed] After I wrote this article. I've made a few changes how the entire site looked. I've updated a few codes to make it more secure. And I've added a comment module so anyone can comment on the articles. I'm sorry but as part of the security , Capcha (weird looking alphabet) was added. I wanted to disable this but I couldn't. So if you want to write a comment, you have to type what it says on capcha (ok to ignore capital letters).

If you want your own username. Let me know and I will create one for you. I want users to be relatives only. That's why I've disable individual user creation.

Anyways I hope you like the new look.

Bye for now.

Cheerios ...and milk.

Deer

E-mail Print PDF

The other day I was dispatched to look into a problem with the local chemical plant. I saw these herd feeding off a farmers field. I'm not sure what species of deer but they are safe here. Hunters are not supposed to shoot near the roads & highways.

After my shift was over, grabbed my camera and headed back. These guys are very shy, the minute they saw me. They've scattered away at a safe distance.

I shot most of them using a 100-400mm attached to a 1.4x tele-converter. Next time I will take a tripod, hide and wait for them to come near me.

Random One-liners

E-mail Print PDF

Things that people sent me, or quotes I've stolen from the 'net. By the way Be Warned. Only a nerd, geeks, lamos, and the mentally stable will probably the only ones who would appreciate these jokes.

A hooded robber burst into a Kansas bank and forced the tellers to load a sack full of cash.

On his way out the door, a brave Kansas customer grabbed the hood and pulled it off, revealing

the robbers face. The robber shot the customer without a moment’s hesitation.

He then looked around the bank and noticed one of the tellers looking straight at him. The robber

instantly shot him also. Everyone in the bank, by now very scared, looked intently down at the floor in silence.

The robber yelled, "Well, did anyone else see my face?"

There are a few moments of utter silence in which everyone was plainly too afraid to speak

Then, one old farmer named Bill from Missouri tentatively raised his hand and said, "My wife got a pretty good look at you."

Kabayo

E-mail Print PDF

On the first part of the journey I was looking at all the life

There were plants and birds and rocks and things

There was sand and hills and rain

The first thing I met was a fly with a buzz

And the sky with no clouds

After three days in the desert fun I was looking at a river bed

And the story it told of a river that flowed

Made me sad to think it was dead...
